The Islan Men present the 2023 Backyard BBQ Cookoff at the beach, to be held April 22nd at Fort Fisher Recreational Area.
The Backyard BBQ Cookoff features over 20 of the best local BBQ smokers competing to win the first-place trophy with honors as top BBQ in the area. This family friendly event includes two live bands, The Phantom Playboys & The South Tones along with over 40 art and product vendors and a children’s entertainment area with a huge bouncy/slide House and games. $10 admission gets you 10 samples (additional tickets available for $1 each), children under 12 free. The Event Features Free Parking, Beer and Wine for Purchase and the BEACHES AND BOOTS line dancing troop.
